As 2020 comes to a close and we approach the festive season I thought I'd share this from when I was a kid. My dad was a graphic designer and painter used to design and print his own Christmas cards to send out to family, friends and clients. The earliest ones he printed himself using lino cuts covered in ink and pressed onto card through an old antique mangle. They're very much of their time, but great fun. The one for Xmas 1979, when I was ten, was particularly controversial and he'd be cancelled for it today. I think it's fantastic and still remember the shocked look on my stuffy teacher's face when she opened it in school that year.
I'm sure these aren't all of my dad's cards, but here are the ones I've got which date back to the early 70s.
The Imperium and Biblical: Two AWESOME comics, in newly revised, mind and reality bending editions.
