Fifty Years Ago Part Twenty Two

Don't remember some of this stuff at all. I'm sure we just had Coke in the pub while the parents had beer. Loved the Muppets as a kid and had their first album on vinyl which had a great gatefold cover and got played to death for several years.

Fifty Years Ago Part Twenty One

That was a patio and pathway that stretched the length of the garden to the corner where the compost heap was. We used to have bonfires every few months in that corner. My Dad would get an old cardboard box and draw a door and windows on one side so we could pretend it was a house on fire and break out the toy fire engine. My teacher missed a few spelling errors there... perhaps her brain was full of 'soment'!

Fifty Years Ago Part Nineteen

 More Doctor Who adventures...

 I loved going to Burnham Beeches as a kid, there was always something new to see and explore. We used to go on long walks to a big lake there through the idylic woodland. Some of the trees are so old they resemble bones which I later went back to in the early 90s and sketched.
