Fifty Years Ago Part Twenty One

That was a patio and pathway that stretched the length of the garden to the corner where the compost heap was. We used to have bonfires every few months in that corner. My Dad would get an old cardboard box and draw a door and windows on one side so we could pretend it was a house on fire and break out the toy fire engine. My teacher missed a few spelling errors there... perhaps her brain was full of 'soment'!
